What makes it a real free kick game
Most browser soccer games let you tap a target and watch the ball go there. In Efectazo the ball is a physics object. It has drag, gravity and spin, so a shot struck with side spin genuinely curves in the air (the Magnus effect), and a hard, flat strike behaves differently from a soft, looping one. Goals happen when the ball actually crosses the line; saves happen when it actually hits the keeper's hands.
One swipe, four decisions
- Direction comes from the start of your swipe.
- Power comes from how fast you swipe.
- Height comes from how far up the screen you swipe.
- Curl comes from the shape of your swipe: bend your finger (or mouse) in an arc and the ball follows that arc.

A wall that jumps and a keeper who reads you
From level 3 on you face a defensive wall of up to six players who jump when you strike. The goalkeeper has a reaction delay, predicts where the ball will cross the line, and dives with limited reach. On later levels he gets better at reading curl, so the same shot that scored on level 5 might be saved on level 25.
