Efectazo is a web game. It runs in Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on phones, tablets, laptops and Chromebooks, as long as the browser supports WebGL (practically every browser from the last several years does).
- Phone or tablet: swipe with your finger. The game is built mobile-first, in portrait.
- Computer: click and drag with the mouse or trackpad the same way.

Smooth on slower devices too
The graphics use real-time lighting, shadows and a full stadium, so the game picks a quality level for you. Settings offer Auto, Ultra, High and Performance; on Auto it steps down automatically if the frame rate drops. If an older phone feels sluggish, choose Performance.
Free kicks, penalties and other browser soccer games
Browser soccer games tend to fall into a few types: penalty shootouts, free kick games, keepy-uppy and full matches. Efectazo is a free kick game: every shot is a set piece from a different distance (roughly 17 to 33 metres) and angle, usually with a wall and always with a goalkeeper. There is no penalty mode and no full 11-a-side match. If you enjoy penalty games, free kicks add the extra problem of getting the ball around or over a wall.
Can I play at school or work?
Efectazo is an ordinary web page at efectazo.pages.dev, so there's nothing to install and no special permissions. Whether it opens on a school or office network depends on that network's filters, which we don't control. We don't use proxies or mirror sites to get around them.
Your progress stays with you
There's no sign-up. Levels, coins, trophies and unlocked items are saved in your browser on that device. Clearing your browser's site data resets them, and progress doesn't move between devices.

Is Efectazo really free?
Yes. Most of the game is free with no sign-up. An optional one-time $2.99 Pro unlock adds the remaining career levels, the Copa Mundial and premium cosmetics.
Does it work offline?
After you've loaded the game once, its core files are cached by your browser, which can help it start on a weak connection. A connection is still recommended.
